When Musashi's wreck was found in 2015, I didn't know about it. But now that I'm 15 I know so much. Musashi sank before Yamato and took the most hits of the 3 Yamato class ships. 17 bombs and 19 torpedoes. They were hoping that her wreck was gonna be in one piece as it sank in one piece. But her wreck was found with the bow being upright and the rest of it being upside down just like Yamato. Yamato took 15 torpedoes and 7 direct bomb hits before she capsized and exploded. And their forgotten sister ship IJN Shinano, which was built out of a Yamato class hull, was converted into an aircraft carrier at 872 feet long. She wasn't even fully complete before being sunk, they had to move her to another harbor to continue building her because of American bombers stalking the area day and night. She was sunk by USS Archerfish just 3 months after Musashi sank. Shinano sank after being hit by 4 torpedoes all on the starboard side. Her wreck has yet to be located. No expedition has been made to find her as it's rumored that she was already discovered but is being kept in secret file.

Fun fact:Yamato and Musashi had a younger sister battleship as well called the IJN Shinano

guys, new data shows it took some where between 20 and 35 torpedoes to sink Musashi and some where between 16 and 30 torpedoes to sink Yamato, the numbers where down played because no one believed it possible for a ship to take 15+ torpedoes and continue fighting
