The Domino Players present 4.48 Psychosis by Sarah Kane.

The play 4.48 Psychosis by Sarah Kane runs from Feb. 18 to 20th and is staged in Albright’s Wachovia Theatre.

In 1999, the celebrated British playwright and provocateur, Sarah Kane, took her own life by hanging herself. Shortly before she died, this tortured and talented writer penned one last act of love to the theatre world—a kaleidoscopic meditation on the unbearable intensity of life called 4.48 Psychosis.

The poetic text invites the audience into a splintered world of language and images that paints an unflinching portrait of a tortured mind preparing for a final shut down.

The production is directed by Albright senior Sarah Crake and is intended for mature audiences only. Performances will be held Feb. 18 to 20 at 8 p.m. Additional performance-related events include:

Feb. 18: A talkback and reception will follow the performance.
Feb. 19: Albright’s short-form improv ensemble, Less Than or Equal To, will present a show in Roop Hall following the performance.
