Extend the lengths of each of the sides of polygon in a clockwise direction, the sum of these newly created angles is always 360 degrees since they completely encircle the polygon exactly once. The size of these angles is 360/# of sides of the polygon. That means for the hexagon it is 60 degrees and for the octagon it is 45 degrees. "X" is made up of one of these angles from each polygon, therefore x = 60 + 45 = 105 degrees.

Angle x= 105 degree. Easy question. Thanks for giving it.

Nice and good explanation.

But i used method 3
Knowing things and little bit geometric construnction.

Knowing a three same sided triangel has 60° each and construnction the down corner of the octagon to a rectangular, symetric triangle (90-45-45°). Then get a line down beetween both and see a three same sided and a rectangular symetric triangle you add the touching angles 60+45 you come to the announced 105°

I hope i wrote it in a way which is possible to understand 😁

Easy one, solution is: Find one angle of Hexagon(1) and Octagon.(2) 1=180(6-2)/6=120, 2=180(8-2)/8=135. Then find X, X=360-(120+135)=105 degrees.

105
since the interior angles of a hexagon (6 sided polygons) are 120 degrees and the interior angles of an octagon (8 sided polygons) are 135 degrees the combined angles of both is 255 degree. 360-255 = 105

X=180 degrees- (45 degree + 30 degree)=105 degree

105 degree
Simple [ add two exterior angle ]

X = 105°, I think. That's pretty easy.
