Welcome to a new free workshop for 3D professionals who want to enhance their renderings and bring more artistry to their work.

In this video we'll work on this overcast monochrome interior and will focus on creating a space that is visually appealing and inviting despite the limitations of a color palette.

In order to overcome this challenge, we'll carefully consider the placement and intensity of light sources, as well as the use of texture and material properties to create a sense of depth and interest in the scene.

Headliner: Daniel Nagaets.

Teaching language: English.

Hi!! i am a blender user! 😃 find your tutorials very helpful even when applying the methods in blender! so one question so far regarding the HDRI's - is it necessary to use high res hdri map such as 19K? or i can use 4K for both of them? will that make any significant affect? thank you very much for time and affort you put in this tutorial! very helpful!

and 2nd question: at 16:25 you are starting to create some sort of grey material, whats that material for? what is it applied to? I mean, later you say you apply this material to all mesh in the scene, but what does it gives you, if you have to apply textures to every asset later on anyway..?
thanks!!!
