The guy cooking this honestly had me scared here for a min. When he made his brine you can see him add the boiling brine directly in with the chicken. This is a big no no.. let the brine cool before putting it in with the chicken & then into the fridge overnight. A minor, but important thing to point out. Also, his oil was dangerously close to overflowing. Had it, especially if someone has a gas stove, it could blow up into a massive fire within seconds. Definitely worth mentioning as well.

Side note: If you ever do have an oil fire you'll want to first turn off the stove, then cover it with a lid to cut off the oxygen. Don't look inside as you'll let on air.. Just wait until it goes out. You may also use a bunch of baking soda to entirely cover the fire which will put it out too. Most ppl know to never add water to an oil fire, but some don't so just keep that in mind if anyone gets motivated to make this.

A side tip with the Gordon Ramsay way.. take about ¼ cup of the buttermilk & pour that into the flour. This will give you a bunch of crunchy little bits that get onto the chicken, making it extra crunchy & delicious.

Edit: I know that induction has little to no risk of fire, it's still bad practice to have a small pot with a bunch of oil.
