Lets be honest... The REAL story here is that Joe Kelly pitched and didnt give up 5 runs.

Now THAT'S more like the Dodgers I'm used to seeing! Maybe they partied too hard after taking the season series from the Cubs last week which led to them playing uncharacteristically out of sync in the home series opener against the Giants, but they sobered up real quick and went back to what they do best: STEAMROLL THE OPPOSITION!!! Really pleased with how Taylor, Hernandez, and Barnes played late in that game. They're the three players in that lineup that really need to start performing up to their career averages and last night was very encouraging on that end. Pray they keep it up (Barnes especially because he's already in the hot seat due to how rookie C WIll Smith has done so far this season). Another strong outing from a reinvented Kershaw as well...

Although it wasn't a no-hitter for Clayton Kershaw, seven shutout innings is still a pretty impressive encore performance.

Everyone looked so good on the Dodgers last night. Kiki, Joc, Taylor, Barnes all broke out of slumps. Kelly and especially Floro finally looked like the pitchers we were hoping they would be. Muncy and Beaty continue to impress. Kershaw returned to looking like his 2014 self again. Best part is, we didn't need that 9 spot to win, Joc won the game in the first with one swing of the bat. This is how I wish every game would go, lol.

Any other team losing a player like Seager for an extended period of time would quickly fall below .500. Not the Dodgers.

People need to have more faith in Kershaw. It's not all about throwing 95+ mph. Take Greg Maddox as an example. Now, I think Maddox was better obviously but Kershaw sure does know how to pitch intelligently. Work smarter not harder
