How To Install Fins (Zipper) - Formula Fun Surfboard

Formula Fun surfboards come with Futures fin boxes, which are one of the most popular fin systems in the world. Futures fins are easy to install and remove, and they offer a wide range of fin options to choose from.

In this video, we'll show you how to install Futures fins on your Formula Fun surfboard.

What you'll need:

A Formula Fun surfboard with Futures fin boxes
A set of Futures fins
A fin key
Instructions:

Choose the right fin for each fin box. The fins should be labeled with their corresponding fin box position (front, center, rear).
Insert the fin into the fin box. Make sure the fin is all the way into the fin box and that the fin tab is aligned with the notch in the fin box.
Screw in the fin key. Tighten the fin key until the fin is snug. Be careful not to overtighten the fin key, as this can damage the fin or the fin box.
Repeat steps 1-3 for the other fins.
Once you have installed all of the fins, you're ready to hit the water!

Here are some additional tips for installing Futures fins:

If you're having trouble getting a fin into the fin box, you can try waxing the fin tabs. This will help the fins slide into the fin boxes more easily.
Be careful not to overtighten the fin key. Overtightening can damage the fin or the fin box.
