I understand how people could shrug Luigi's Mansion off as childish, but honestly, I find those people to be a bit brainwashed by social norms. I mean, a fun game is a fun game no matter which way you spin it. And Luigi's Mansion isn't simple or adorable like Kirby's Epic Yarn. It's just cartoony and aimed at a broad demographic. I'm not a big Mario fan, but Luigi's Mansion gave me a sense of fascination and wonder. I found it to be clever and fresh.

An amazing sequel to an amazing game! Luigi's Mansion is my favorite GameCube game and one of my all time favorites! It was the first game I had when I first got my GameCube, it took me about three years to finally beat it and when I did I was so happy! When I saw the trailer for this game I immediately had to get a 3ds so I could play it!

I hate seeing fans hate on this game for the reason of liking the original. Yes, everyone has an entitled opinion, but it's kind of unfair in that way.

I personally haven't played this, but I adore it from what I have seen. Cannot all fans just enjoy this game since it helped to celebrate the Year of Luigi?

Oh man I have never played the first one but this game is GREAT! I've beat it and it's just pure fun, lots of gameplay, some pretty cool bosses, I admit it's easy to get lost at some parts and yes I have used a few walkthroughs though not many, it also is a pretty long game and the ending is also amazing! Not everyone might like it but its a great game, totally recommend it! 10/10
