This was extremely helpful..my daughter got lice from school and all I wear is wigs..I have lice now. My biggest fear was getting lice in my wigs.

Lice live longer than 24 to 48 hours. This is incorrect information. They can embedded themselves in fabric and wigs and live for a long time. From what I have noticed 2 weeks they are still alive even after washing clothes in hot water and hot dryer. Wigs will be no different.
