I'm getting this HBK for the same reason. I loved the Jakks version. The head sculpt still looks so good. We really do need a new head for this era of Shawn fro Mattel. Damn, that retro is so heinous Lol Definitely want that ring bell too. I just hope Walmart fills my preorder because I don't like my chances of seeing these in an actual store. I remember how much I wanted those Decade of Dominance figures and never even saw one. I tried to forget them but ended up buying Orton and HHH at a 50% mark up on ebay a couple of months ago.

Mattel also released this ring attire on a basic figure—Wrestlemania Heritage, WWE Series 26—like 10 years ago. I have that one and just found this Elite at a local TJ MAXX. Our Walmart never saw it, 🙄. Love the throwback packaging and the hat tip to the Ol’ Jakks figure. Agreed, the head sculpt is tired in more ways than one. I’m a MOC guy, so appreciate the outta the packaging review. 👍🏻

A bit late to the party here, but I went to a Walmart that never has anything new (Elite 87 still on pegs) and found all 3 Ruthless Aggression figures. Only had one of each, but I had to grab them up. No joke about Walmart distribution, just so all over the place.

I'm gonna pass on this Shawn Michaels. However I will say this: The one thing the Jakks figure has over the Mattel is the head sculpt. It has so much more personality and doesn't look dead in the eyes like the Mattel does. And just for that alone, it makes the Jakks figure better imo.
