Like skunkhaze said, you want to buy the battery in the shop BEFORE you open chests. If you do, opened chests count as another item that is rerolled with the D20; if you don't, the empty chests disappear when you leave the room to get the battery.

You have to take the battery prior opening the chests. Cause empty chests respawn once u exit the room, and empty chests can be rerolled for pickups.

A thing people don’t seem to note when doing this is that safety scissors are a great trinket to get and gulp if you get a gulp pill because then all troll bombs will now become regular bombs, that even makes the tower cards just give a lot more items

From personal experience (and by that I mean I’ve done this beforehand before I knew about your channel). There is another rig involving greed mode and that’s blank card! Blank card copies the card you have in your inventory, so if you find two of diamonds, you’re all set. An easy way to get two of daimonds is to actually use D20! Since D20 is an easy rig, once you have a lot of money stored up from D20, start buying all the items until you find blank card, and keep rerolling your stuff with D20 until you find two of daimonds. From there, it’s an easy rig, just make sure there’s a battery in stock because blank card takes 2 battery charges with two of diamonds so just be careful about that, then just buy all the items and you’re all set. Now you might be asking *“What if I want secret or devil room items”* you probably didn’t but I’m gonna tell you anyway! You will find chaos while emptying the shop item pool which will result in stuff like rock bottom and brimstone!

Fun fact: if you have the possibility to get a charge before opening the chests. Because an open chest also counts as an item that will be rerolled, but it will despawn if you leave the room.
