The Flawed alternates are definitely more unnerving than the Pure Forms. Pure Forms are just a human shadow with white eyes, and that’s it. Flawed on the other hand have so many different forms of making themselves look terrifying

I really don't understand how people are more afraid of a black shadow or a woman in a blue shirt that is not even that scary, than a woman in a very deformed face and body in a yellow shirt. In my opinion this is the scariest thing in the game.

i just love how some of the flaweds (try) do things their appearance says they can't(example: the 1st kids rooom flawed, the 2nd kitchen flawed, etc.). it just makes the game like more uneasy and unnerving

One thing i love about this being in the Mandela Catalogue universe is that while it looks goofy to us, imagining this goofy badly photoshopped picture of a nun rapidly whispering at us appearing exactly that way in front of you goes from being funny to terrifying once you realize the characters in this universe see it that way without looking at it on a screen. That goofy PNG is just there, no computer, same 16 bit audio whispering, impossible, yet concretely in front of you.

The fact that the laundry and the bathroom have the most disturbing encounters it's actually accurate 😂💀
Also, I don't know why, but the door opening by itself only to show a dark room gives me some goosebumps.
