“I’m Not Like Everybody Else” Saturday Jam

Today’s Saturday Jam is my take on a classic Kinks song: “I’m Not Like Everybody Else.” I heard it on a show this week and thought, ‘I’ve gotta do that one,’ so I did. It’s the B-side of the probably better-known “Sunny Afternoon,” another great Kinks track that I used to cover with some friends. I’m pretty sure it’s used in an excellent scene in The Sopranos, too, but it’s been a while, and my mind could be playing tricks on me. Either way, Ray Davies could do very little wrong in this era, and this song stands up. Hope you enjoy!
