How to use Offset in Cricut Design Space - Making an offset - offset text - images

Cricut has released the offset its not amazing and I still find that Inkscape and silhouette look better have better options but this will do.
Offset is something we have been waiting for. They are finally adding it and I am excited. I will still be teaching you how to do offsets in other ways as well but this is a great option to do this quickly and easily

I used the link to try the offset and I've downloaded it and everything but in the app I still am not able to have the offset option. anyone know how to help?

Geez... Finally something positive from them. It seems to work pretty well for me. I hope they fix the other bugs with Design Space. Currently, when I click on something, it may or may not put a selection box around it until I click on in like 5 times. Annoying!

I’ve never made layered decals ... do they hold well, or should I slice out the offset and hope I can line everything back up?

Great tool. Few ideas...
1. You can always use CONTOUR to fill in any holes in your offset.
2. If you move the slide to zero... you get an exact copy that you can fill in w contour so you have a solid background

Does this feature work using a laptop? I have a windows 10 but it is not working on mine. I get a Javascript error. I have rebooted but this has not helped.

What if you did the second offset with the original text instead of choosing the first offset? Will that work and just make it larger than the first offset?
