Once bitten, twice shy here. Even if John Riccitiello is gone, NOTHING has changed. The board at Unity showed their true colors. That is that they subscribe to the school of, "Profit at any cost". And only because their actions threatened to lower their profits did they reform. My trust for in them is gone. Epic and Unreal Engine have my trust. They're team appears to subscribe to the school of, "Make a great product and that will lead to great profits". It takes more time to come to fruition but, we are already seeing the seeds of it as one AAA game company after announces their switch from their own custom engines to Unreal Engine. The Halo developers being the latest as of this writing. As for Indie's like myself, Unreal Engine is a no brainer. You get A LOT for very little.

Great content as always. But constantly bringing up the now cancelled Unity runtime fee whenever covering something related to Unity is boring and predictable. It was a bad move, lots of people tore into it and changes were made, now let’s all move on from it.
