OMG you got the t-shirt! Thank you for the shoutout <3 I'm curious to hear your opinion on The Other Bennet Sister. Mary is my favourite :D Flatland just sounds so intriguing. You don't expect that kind of strange concept in 19th century literature! Also you're so right about blurbs of classics, I also never look at them or at the introductions, both always assume you already know the story.

I need to read some Gissing. I also collect the Black penguins and thought his novels only came in the Oxford classics. I will definitely be getting the Penguin editions! So many classics, so little time 😀👍🏻

I really enjoyed Little Fires Everywhere. I think the author did a fantastic job in capturing in prose the magic of visual art.

I have little fires everywhere but have yet to get to it. I’m intrigued as to what you will think of it. Paige toon is one of my favourite authors and I loved the book you have got. Great video 😊

Can't wait to hear your thoughts about The Heir of Redclyffe. I have Deerbrook on my kindle but haven't read it yet, I download it after watching Kate video talking about it. I would like to read it this Victober but I already have an ambitions TBR so we shall see.

I've only read two in your haul. Little Fires Everywhere, Celeste Ng, is good. Salt Creek by Lucy Treloar is really, really good :D
Lucy has another one out now called Wolfe Island.

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on Flatland. I did quite enjoy Little Fires Everywhere and recently picked up her other novel Everything I Never Told You.

I read Flatland a few years ago well I don’t remember much of the maths stuff because I was so irritated at the way class and gender are presented. Which granted is reflective of the time so it’s probably not that bad, but I didn’t enjoy it sadly. Hopefully you like it better than I did. Interested to hear about The Other Bennet Sister. I read the Mary Mcculloch book based on Mary which was enjoyable but that’s about it.

I adore Oscar Wilde plays too! I read them around 12 years ago.
