You can totally bunnyhop without being clipped in, in fact that's the way I'd suggest you learn it so you're not cheating it. Then go clipped and you'll get way more height.

i always track stand at light, and practice every time i arrive home, trick is to have your from wheel facing up a slight hill and rock back and forth

Thanks for the good exercises. I have to fit an hour of these in. My road bike still feels strange compared to the MTB. 400mm bars vs. 780mm makes a big difference.
