Absolutely wonderful track recorded half a century ago in 1971, it only got to number 14 in the UK charts and for some reason the Madness cover version is far better known, this tune always lifts my spirit and stirs my soul with it's amazing acoustic guitar riff, warm heartfelt vocals and timeless message !.

This song reminds me of a girl that lived across the road when I stayed with my grandparents in the 70s she was gorgeous
I tried to get onto her but unfortunately she didn't feel the same way about me as I felt towards her.
