Supreme Court Issues Notice On Rahul Gandhi's Plea To Stay Conviction; Posts For Hearing On August 4

The Supreme Court has today on 21st of July issued notice on a petition filed by Congress leader and former Member of Parliament (MP) Rahul Gandhi seeking suspension of his conviction in a criminal defamation case over 'Modi thieves' remark, which resulted in his disqualification from the Lok Sabha.
The matter has noow been posted for hearing on August 4.
A bench of Justices BR Gavai and Prashant Kumar Mishra was hearing Rahul Gandhi’s plea challenging the Gujarat High Court's refusal to stay his conviction in the criminal defamation case.

RAHUL MENTIONED ONLY THREE MODIES IN HIS SPEECH. HE TOLD "HOW COMES ALL 'THESE' CHORES HAPPENED TO BE MODIES". ( LIKE TELLING HOW COMES ALL THESE MISCREANTS ARE FROM THIS PARTICULAR DISTRICT.). HE DIDN'T TELL ALL THE MODIES ARE CHORES. HE WAS ONLY SURPRISED HOW COME ALL THESE CHORES ARE MODIES. THAT SHOWS RAHUL GOT SPECIAL SYMPATHY AND LOVE FOR MODIES OTHER THAN THESE THREE NAMES. HIS SPEECH LAMENTS THAT THREE NAMES HE MENTIONED ARE SOILING THE GOOD REPUTATION OF REST OF THE MODIES. THEREFORE THERE IS A SENSE ONLY IF ANY ONE OF THE NAMES MENTIONED GOES TO THE COURT.
