Definitely have to appreciate the fact he still pushed through that injury and tried his best. Thanks T.J speedy recovery beast

He did even more damage to himself and his career by training for 6 months with a bum shoulder knowing that it would likely pop out at the start of a 5 round fight against the champion in the division. He should've pulled out ASAP and recovered properly while another healthy fighter took his spot. He wasted his own time, the fightmakers time, and screwed over thousands of people who bet on him assuming he was healthy.

Shoulder injuries are hell. I’ve had a reoccurring labrum tear and I can’t even sleep with it. I can’t imagine how he fought through that. Mad props

Holy hell I'm not a tj fan at all mostly for how he treats teammates but man did he earn some real respect from me for this fight. His damn shoulder dislocated and you can see him in so much pain but he stayed in there. And then the class he showed in the post fight interview to top it off. I wanted Aljo to win so Cejudo will be more motivated to come back and destroy everybody again, but man I didn't wanna see him get done dirty like that by some terrible injury.

blew his knee out in r1 last fight and now dislocated his shoulder in the first minute ... i feel for him honestly

What a beast, the fact he could even survive that long is impressive. I had to surgically repair my shoulder after 10 dislocations and the fact he could do what he did is unbelievable. Crazy.

First loss he actually acknowledged and was humble.

Man I think he's still fast and strong! No time to retire! Not saying he would have won if he didn't dislocate his shoulder but probably would have lasted longer and performed better! He doesn't seem to be slower and stuff! He still has a few bullets left to shoot imo!

Kudos to TJ. Carrying on with a dislocated shoulder is crazy. I've dislocated 5 times. Friggin agony everytime lol

At least he’s being honest give the man a break

After having that same injury during training one of my teammates popped it back in and I was done for the day. For him to fight on says something special about him. The pain is debilitating.

Impressive how he survived the first round. It would have been a true cinderella story if he would have won by some miracle.

Just ran into TJ in Dubai at the burj khalifa...unbelievable to meet him and he was such a humble down to earth person.

People saying hats off to him are stupid. People bet real money and it’s a disservice to go into a fight knowing you can’t win. Sterling wrestles every fight no way you thought he was gonna stand and bang.
