My 91-year-old-granny once told me,
"When I was a child, I wanted grocery store sliced bread because that's what all the other kids were eating on their sandwiches at school. Now of course, I know what a dumb child I was, and I miss Mother's homemade bread and beef sandwiches...."

Azdicarbomide is a lifting agent. The preservative is calcium sulfate, aka gypsum, which many people might get asthma from.

Wait till you see the bread from Victorian England. Wonder bread may be awful, but it doesn't contain alum, chalk, or plaster.

Let’s think a little critically here about his reasoning behind why bread was moved to being made in factories. Cleary, America in 1920 was not the only place where large groups of people are spread out across large distances. Russia, China, Canada, and many other places around the world exist where people are just as spread out and more. Maybe a simpler answer is an entrepreneur saw a way to feed more people faster and could make a nice profit at it? Maybe it is because of many factors? WW1 just ended and there was a major depression that occurred between 1920-1921 that impacted the decisions of entrepreneurs and American families alike, shifting the way people produced and obtained goods? Simply asserting only Americans were spread out as the sole reason is just a silly idea with no basis in reality.

Just because it is banned in the EU does not mean it is, "Slowly killing you".Azodicarbonamide is used to maintain dough consistency (not a preservative), and has the possibility to turn into a substance which POSSIBLY causes cancer, if you eat an absurd quantity of it.

I love how Antarctica is included in the yellow coloured land as if Antarctica also produces bread.

Water is also used in yoga mat production. Many chemicals are used in various industries, in varying amounts.

Look, I’m all for reasonable caution. But when you start fearing every chemical, things start to look a bit silly.

I’ve been eating bread like this for over 70 years. I still work, play drums, and have a great sex life. I’m not overweight or sick.

This video identifies the issue of low-quality foodstuff, and then does the most absurd and incorrect mental gymnastics of “it’s too spread out!” to hazard an explanation.
