The Curve in the neck is called the 'Arc of Life'. If there is no curve then there has been trauma. This causes many problems! Do not drug a problematic spine!

I have that exact condition... 13yrs ago an elderly woman fell asleep behind the wheel of her Buick and rear ended my Accord. She never hit the brakes and the police said speed at impact was 40-45mph.

After 13yrs of daily prescribed oxycontin and morphine I am now completely drug free for over 60 days... I have not even taken a single advill!

By the way I caught your connection of neck problems and carpal tunnel in your vid last week.... Made perfect since 'cause I got it.

Thanks :)

Thank you so much for responding! Yes he said using the lidocaine should speed up my recovery because it would relax my muscle so the adjustment would last. He said without it my tight muscles would pull the adjustment back to the same old spot & more adjustments would be needed. I am so thankful for your videos/ help. I will post to the owners manual going forward.

The truthful integrity presented on your videos is unequaled in any other medical lit. that is presented for average person consumption, thanks.  On personal side, wife and I are senior cit., we have suffered the whole range of medical problems and need specific guide lines for getting well.. It is on my wife's side where first focus should go.  Wife had a Heart Attack just over a year ago.  She has taken Clopidogrel, nifedipine, metoprolol and pantoprazole for over a year following a triple bi-pass event.  Also, she has osteoarthritis and has endured multiple kypoplasty surgeries that have not relieved the extreme pain.  Just like your video, she is bent over at the upper back and cannot get relief unless she is reclined or flat.
Secondly, my health concern is RA, meds include prednazone, methotrexate and Enbril (sure shot 50 mg. ea wk.).
Our question is, can we sign up for Skype consultation that we can get a door opened to a plan for healing?

Dr. Bergman, is there any way to restore the natural curve of the neck naturally without adjustments or surgery?

Hi Dr. bergman, i found you recently and after watching your videos i believe you are the only one who can help me. i´ve been living a nightmare in the past 2, 5 years, i have muscular and joint pain all over, i was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis, fybromialgia and mechanical problems by doctors who dont agree with each other and cant fix me. I have took all sorts of drugs with little to no help, the only one that works is cortisone but eventualy i have to stop it.I have pain in neck, shoulders, sternum (a lot), back, thigh muscles and knees, and a cervical curve. Can you advise me please? thank you.

Dr Bergman-First of all thank you for all the videos. Question - should I let my brand new chiropractor give me trigger point injections of Lidocaine? It seems wrong to me. I live in Minneapolis and was in a car accident June 2012. I have a reverse curve in the neck, issues by the shoulder blade and lower back (lean forward)- all right side and inflammation. I couldn't take the pain anymore so I sought out a chiropractor but I could not find a chiropractor like you. Just wondering your thoughts.
