I had my replacement done in 2015. I limp slightly but I am pain free. I'm a bit apprehensive about the longevity of the joint. I still play golf and walked 27 holes on Friday. I'm very happy with the outcome so far.

The surgeon that fixed my trimal dislocation/fracture says I’ll need a surgery in the future, I’m assuming he means either fusion or one of these replacements … hope they keep getting better at them so I’m not sidelined from life (don’t want a fusion)

Is age a factor? Getting it done in the late 70's bone on bone, no cartilage versus waiting until pain is terrible and doing it in your 80's.
