Retrofitted AIR FRANCE 777 in all three classes: Including BRAND-NEW business suites

For our latest cabin comparison, we were invited on board Air France’s retrofitted Boeing 777-300ER for one of its first trips from Paris to New York JFK. This included checking out the airline’s brand new business suites and refreshed premium economy and economy cabins.


Note: Air France provided the Business Class and Premium Economy tickets. We were invited alongside other media and influencers. TPG paid £266.98 + 12,000 Virgin Points for an economy ticket from London via Paris to New York.

As always, it was such a joy to watch Nicky, Liam and Sam review Air France (although, it would be nice to see Liam in business class for a change 😋). They always bring a massive smile to my face, especially when they say 'pluffy' or 'chic' or perform the call bell challenge.

Thanks for this! I need to fly this route in a few months and I usually fly KLM due to living in Holland. The Air France ticket was slightly more expensive, but now that I’ve seen the refurbished cabin, I think the cost is justified and I’m excited, now. Also, Sam is just great! He speaks really clearly and enunciates his words well for those viewers who might not be used to a typical London accent. He’s also really funny! Please travel more with Sam!

What a great review and what a great idea to review all three classes at one time! It makes comparing the three and deciding which you want to go on so much easier. I really appreciate that. The guy that was an economy was positive and upbeat and objective : he could’ve complained because he was in the lowest class, but instead he did a great job objectively reviewing the economy section. Nice job guys!

If you ask nicely and if you are a decent customer from boarding, you can ask the FAs to keep one or two chocolate cakes from economy, pop it in an oven and you got yourself a hot lava cake. On long haul flights we also provide sandwiches (self service at the aft most galley) and you can also ask to heat it up and transform it to a “panini” 😉 but these are little flight attendant secrets 🤫
