Although I have been inspired by many different authors, my biggest influences are
1.Stephen King because his prose is tight, clean, and masterful.
2.Cormac McCarthy because he is majestic in his ability to juxtapose the beautiful and the horrific aspects of human nature.
3.Joe Abercrombie because he understands the irony of violence—how it is deadly serious, and yet can seem almost farcical at the oddest of times. And
4.Charles Dickens because of his uncanny knack for being entertaining, while also discussing serious, big picture issues.
