He wasn't the last spinosaurus on the island, he was the only one. He wasn't really alone on sorna, he was the apex predator of a thriving dinosaur ecosystem. But he was taken by manticore and likely put through cruel experiments. He is seen in the desert habitat which he isn't meant to be living in, he is supposed to be in a moist and wet habitat, like he was on Sorna. His skin is clearly dried out and not in good condition.

Fun fact the reason cooper is injured is because he was attacked by a baby spino because the other mercenaries killed the other babies and that’s why it was chasing them the whole movie

He would have a son who would die in the movie, that's why he kept killing all the humans in the movie. The scene was deleted, but I still think that's why he hunted everyone on the island.
