My cat was diagnosed with terminal cancer about a month ago. Every day I would go into the little area she had fenced off for herself (we have two dogs that would eat her food and raid the litterbox, so they have to stay out) sit on the floor with my phone or a book, or my crochet, turn on some lofi, and keep her company. Sometimes she'd climb in my lap, sometimes she would just chill nearby. I think she liked the music, or maybe it just made me feel better as I tried to work though my grief. I had to put her down last Saturday, and I haven't really been able to listen to anything else since then. I don't know, maybe she can still hear it, but it brings me peace. I like to think she's waiting for me in that little house so she can fuss at me for not feeding her yet and then cuddle me while I have my morning coffee. So thank you.

The fact that you guys are underrated is criminal, the music, the animations and everything is just stunning-

His house was set on a tree. A curved tree. A big tree.

He had taken off the crown of the tree to make space for his house. His house was the crown. Held up by three major branches, surrounded by a wooden patio. The path towards the house was almost horizontal, only the last curve he needed to climb up a ladder to reach the crown of the tree that was now his house. The tree had grown on a ledge and over a lake.

This is why he chose that tree.

The views were spactacular. Unmatched by any space around him. In the far distance he could see the kingdom. He could reach it if need be. But he was unbothered by it here out in nature. He could overlook the forest, see schools of birds rushing by and hear the wind ruffling up small waves or bushes by the shore.

Just like the tree and his house, he valued his solidarity.

And so each morning he would watch the sunrise over the lake and the kingdom and enjoy times of bliss in solitude, leaving all his problems and sorrows were they belonged - in a past, far far away, on the ground, not in a house set on a tree.
