I don’t get very excited for makeup launches these days. Especially not celebrity launches. But, I was named Jolene because of Dolly’s song. And I adore her. So, I am super excited about this upcoming lipstick launch. 🤩🤩

Cool toned purple blushes work well on my fair, very cool toned skin BUT only because they usually turn pink on me. Purple or lavender blushes are one of the few ways I can get a true pink on my very cool skin. Usually even pinks that look cool have a little warmth and turn peach on me (or orange depending how much warmth they have). But, it definitely isn’t for everyone!

Just popping in with a weekly reminder that inclusive doesn’t apply ONLY to depth. UNDERTONE is important too. If you are a fellow neutral/cool leaning olive person you understand. That cool toned purple blush is chefs kiss on us. I feel so beautiful in that color blush but it’s hard to find. Or any complexion products really made for me that match or flatter me. I would never take away from the deep skinned person just please don’t forget about I want to have fun makeup too
