1) Prince Rurik founded the Russian state in 862 with the capital in Novgorod.
2) Prince Oleg captured the Khazar Sambat (Kiev) in 882.
3) Old Russian colors were dark red with gold. These are the official colors of the Rurik dynasty. They can be seen on the coat of arms of the city of Ladoga. This is the place where Rurik arrived.

Как же меня бесят, что Украинские, что Русские Националисты. Одни дураки пытаются доказать, что Русь это только Украина, другие, что Русь это только Россия, а Украина это Малороссия. Всем адекватным людям понятно, что Русь это и Украина, и Россия, и Беларусь. Разделение Руси произошло из-за того, что одна часть Руси стала под контролем Московского Княжества (ныне они Русские), а другая под контролем Литовского Княжества (ныне они Беларусы и Украинцы).
