Featuring painters in tutorials is an absolutely golden premise. I'll undoubtedly watch all content of this sort that releases.

Just wanted to say, you guys have really stepped up with the painting content and it's appreciated. Much more natural and the personalities of the presenters come through more.

Great tutorial. Recess shading black armour with brown has been an absolute game changer for me. Adds definition and also makes the model feel more weathered.

This is an awesome video! Really good idea and the hosts were great at not only giving a “paint-list” but also providing information on paint consistency and strategies. Thanks a lot :)

These kinds of videos, presenting different kind of styles and approaches on how to paint miniatures are very valuable and great! It’s not about one style being better than another. It’s just a case of personal preferences and experimenting with it to find your own style. So please do more of these!

Honestly this guide was great, but I find Incubi Darkness and Fenrisian Grey work wonderfully when highlighting black armor, also Dawn Stone is a fine option

Definitely NOT doing 4 steps of edge highlights, but that brown shading is genius, so I’m gonna try that for sure.

Literally painting Anvils of Heldenhammer and just finished my black highlights. Now this video shows up in my feed. It’s like the team knows what I’m painting 👀

It would be great to have much, much more video showing miniature and brush working on it. The parts showing the mini and brush stroke are invaluable. It's hard to scroll and find them now.

You don't know how well timed this video was. I was in Warhammer world looking at Adam's army a month or so ago (it's on display there) and decided to build a Deathwatch army because of it. I wanted to copy the black armour and was trying to work it out from what I could see, this video just made my life a lot easier. Time to buy some paints :)

I encourage the channel to invite more veteran painters like Adam here, somewhat like how Duncan started with GW. Those makes for excellent videos.

Great video guys. It's also good to finally watch Adam relax and not have his presenter voice on. Definitely made him more engaging and natural. Look forward to more like this

Some feedback about the video: It was great seeing the painters shacking the pots and mixing the paint with water. For medium level painters this can be obvious, but for starters this is a great info.

Explaining quickly how much is the ratio of water/paint and stating the kind of palette that they are using could be helpful too, and I think that this can be done with 15 secs.

I like how your presenter did Lemartes in an older video - Abaddon Black, Thunderhawk Blue dry brush, and a black Templar coat. I use it on all of my chaplains now

Edit: very light dry brush/highlight with Fenrisian grey before you put black Templar! It adds just a nice little highlight after the contrast paint.

This is great, really refreshing to see such a different approach to your painting tutorials and investigating an expert’s approach to their specialist subject!

I love how they're doing these in sub assemblies. I mentioned doing sub assembly to a GW store employee and he freaked the hell out about it. Said that it was the dumbest thing to do and that it ruins the paint job completely. I have been doing it for a few weeks and it's so much better for some models.
