People that don't lock their doors in real life are just plain aggravating. Idgaf if it's your house or where it is. I am safely locking the doors while I'm inside of it.

The scariest part of the story was the main character thinking "Oh, this is a safe city" and either had not fully locked or completely unlocked entry points to his apartment.

I grew up in the absolute middle of nowhere. Always locked the doors and windows.

But anyway, absolutely CHILLING story, well done!

Eddie's friend sounds as if he's in denial about so many things.

The ending flew so hard above my head
I get that some are saying its like a metaphor but if they were trying to "get in " and ed "let them in " That would imply we didn't have these things before especially because the MC sees them too
Unless of course if they like spread like this at least metaphorically

My heart broke. I heard a dude with a serious mental condition get rejected by the whole of humanity until he embraced a personality disorder as a shield and joined an extremist group for acceptance

Awww I was really hoping for a happy ending. This story was really sad, I feel bad for Ed. But I did love it and I think you did a great job narrating it. Although I won't lie, I didn't notice much difference from usual.

The real horror story told by the first 10 minutes is "a normal guy is stuck in a nightmare dimension in which it is taboo to lock the front door" ASFFDJFDADDH like it genuinely almost sounds like satire like "i had a weird roommate in college... He would have these weird fits of panic whenever he saw anyone sprinkle shards of broken glass into their morning coffee. He'd even forcefully and aggressively try to prevent them from injesting the glass shards. He cost me a lot of friendships :/" like WHAT XD
