First encounter: Garou thinks saitama is a low ranked hero trying to climb ranks by defeating him. He attacks saitama, in which saitama returns with the same attack
Second encounter: Garou is about to attack king, and doesn’t even notice saitama is standing next to king, and gets kicked away when he gets close
Third encounter:(manga) garou recognizes saitama, and puts a hand on his shoulder, t to attack, but gets knocked away
Fourth: (manga) he doesn’t recognize him at first, thinking he’s a rescue hero. But then remembers him, and so that leads to the cosmic Garou vs saitama fight eventually
