Smart Tech from Shelly Complete Guide Unboxing Setup Review and Tutorial
Simple to setup on its App, plus has a lot of options available which I have gone through for each of the devices I have.
Killer feature in my opinion I think that sets it apart from other smart devices, is its' temperature protection, a safety feature that will prevent the devices from overloading.
There is however a limitation as there is no Cloud service this will limit the remote connectivity to the devices, but you can connect via the web services I've shown, to connect via a PC.

I bought 2 Shelly dimmer 2s. Excellent stuff; really love the fact I can use MQTT straight out of the box. Hard to get hold of though. Delivery took ages. Ordered another two on Amazon, 3 weeks later order cancelled!

I like the plug. The only one that provides real time Voltage. I use it to control my portable radiator. Would have never done that had I not been able to see how much was being pulled through the plug. Have yet to see that in other plugs of comparable price. Those that do offer this feature do so over 24hr period. I want to know if I am creating a fire hazard.

I also bought the sensor. It’s big and heavy. But I have A.... and am trying to avoid investing in another hub.

What is an access point? Does it just mean that it connects directly to the router without the need of a hub?

So basically i can get a Shelly 1, wire it to a light switch in a room and then connect it to google home?

Great videos!! I am a newb to the smart home fraternity but am loving learning about it! The Shelly dimmer and the other Shelly wifi relays that are available to be fitted into/behind light switches, if the switch is manually flicked off, do these Shelly units still control the light by alexa or do you then lose control functionality until the wall switch is flicked back on?
Keep the videos coming!!

Wonderful video as usual. I want to add some GU10 rgb bulbs to my setup. I have a zigbee hub on my local Home Assistant setup and wanted to ask you which of the bulbs you recommend between Shelly Duo and the Ajax GU10 Zigbee?

I think the Shelly dimmer is the only device here I'd be interested in. The wireless devices are just too big and heavy. Probably due to being Wi-Fi and requiring a bigger battery when compared to a similar Zigbee version.

I'd like to control the heating remotely in my log cabin, Could I use the Shelly Temperature sensor and link it a heater connected to a generic smart plug using Alexa to control it?

I need help again. I'm looking for a battery-operated button or switch that I can keep near me bed to control a Tuya function. I cannot for the life of me find one. Thanks!!!

I think from a safety perspective that I would sleep easier at night time with something that has actually passed and approved safety standards on it. I like my Sonoff but will eventually replace them with shelly products

I was seriously interested, until you showed the size of the sensors & requiring CR123 3v battery. keep making these videos! love it

Don’t like the size and using expensive batteries. I’m surprised it can last 18 months though. Very slow response as well

Why such a slow response to the button?

i cant even begin to describe how bad these products are. i bought 10 bulbs and 2 motion sensors. thats over a year ago. i still havent managed to set them up...how many takes to get your devices connected?

It's a real shame you fast forwarded the delay between button press and bulb turning on. It would have been interesting to know how long the delay was.
