This white color from the lite line gets stained quite easily. And it isn’t easy to clean. This is coming from using their lite pouches.

Great review as always! I'm waiting for this bag to arrive, I chose the clay colour 30L. I have a white duffel bag by Bellroy and....no white bags any more, can't keep 'em clean with my kind of use.
I'll be mostly using this bag for gym and commuting when it happens the same day. Great with the clam shell opening and mesh pockets inside. I also own a Venture Ready 26L in clay colour and although i love the craftsmanship and the feel, it's not as practical with that big opened compartment. I use that one for music accessories when going out for gigs and it's sturdy, sits great on my back, great bag.

Just bought a Transit backpack from with discount. I was little frustrated when I saw the release video, but then happy when you said it doesn’t fit big shoes. I’m able to fit my 14 shoes horizontally without issues on the transit backpack 😅

This is basically the backpack I wanted out of the Bellroy Transit backpack though still no lift-loaders or hip belt. I found the 28L Transit almost too heavy to carry comfortably when fully loaded plus the internal waterbottle pocket ate into the main space. This fixes a lot of problems that bag has, including the sensible additions of a side handle and the luggage pass thru. I'd be hesitant to get the 38L without the extra support but the 30L could probably be a much better alternative to the 28L Transit.

Love this and how light it is! Just wish it had a water bottle (and compression straps on the outside). Then it'd be perfect and I'd buy instantly!

To me, an ideal travel backpack must have 2 water external water bottle pockets - 1 for a water bottle, 1 for a small umbrella. A built-in rain cover that comes out (like a hiking backpack) would be excellent, but at the very least, a way to grab an umbrella without having to unzip and dig one out, in the rain ...

So glad you added shoes, that is my biggest grip of travel backpacks, my shoes take up so much space. Haven’t found a good solution backpack for this yet….

I would use this for carry on w/ clothes and toiletries to keep it light and loaded with stuff that doesn’t need much structure and pair it with a 15L wonder tote personal item for my gadgets for short trip travel and pack a sling in the 30L. Ordered one to check it out.

I would be worried about the attachment points in the bottom of the straps failing over time. Not a bag for me, because of this and the internal organization, but a step in the good direction from Bellroy.

I like the organization pockets, even though I use packing cubes because it’s nice to not have the packing cubes fall out when you unzip the bag so it’s a win-win

This is the bag that I've been waiting for; our carry-on allowance in Australia is 7kg, so every gram counts. They've done away with the unnecessaries and kept it basic and lite.
