Rina Palenkova was a Russian teenager who tragically died by suicide in 2015. Her death was linked to an internet phenomenon called
"Blue Whale",
" a series of 50 tasks over 50
days. This may not sound bad, but the tasks got more extreme as they went on. Starting from watching a scary movie, to carving the word "WHALE" into your arm and sadly, suicide. And you would need to take a picture for proof that you have done the task. That's where the famous photo of her came from, her by the tracks with the middle finger up.
But back to the tasks, why didn't people say no? Well, the owner claimed to leak her personal information, and send death threats to family members. The owner has been found and arrested for the game, and it is now shut down.

I have gotten a lot of info about this incident and many comments say otherwise, but here's what I found (help this took so long to type)
Rina Palenkova was a 16 year old girl who completed the Blue Whale Challenge. In case you are wondering, the Blue Whale Challenge is a "game" that includes demands that the person self harms, and eventually take their own life, and more painful tasks. Here is a list, not word for word, of some tasks. (reminder, some of these tasks were coded in secret and weren't able to be figured out):
"Cut your arm with a razor along your veins, but not too deep, only three cuts, send a photo to the curator." -Task 3
"Carve a whale on your hand with a razor, send a photo to the curator." -Task 11
"Do something painful to yourself, make yourself sick." -Task 16
"Go to a bridge, stand on the edge." -Task 18
"Curator tells you the date of your death and you must accept it." -Task 26
"Don't talk to anyone all day." -Task 28
"Everyday you wake up at 4:20am, watch horror videos, listen to the music 'they' send you, make one cut on your body per day, talk to a 'whale'. " - Tasks 30-49
The last task reads "Jump off a high building. Take your life."
It breaks my heart to hear of Rina, I hope she rests easily.

Rina Palenkova is a Russian girl which was a one of the victims of the game "Blue whale" which you have to do 50 challenges in 50 days. 50 days of hell on which some people call. One of the challenges is to carve the word "whale" on your own skin. And eventually on the last challenge she was forced to listen to music with headphones and lay on the train tracks. As like she was giving her life to God.
For the creator of the game, got 16 teenage girls to commit suicide.

Basically this is a story about Rina, she download a game called “Blue Whale”.the game was famous, so innocent people downloaded it, just like Rina.they thought it was an innocent game, but the meaning was dark, if you downloaded it you would have to do 50 tasks in 50 days.the tasks got harder the more you did them.the last task was killing yourself, you had three options.i forgot the options, she picked laying on a train track, and listening to this song..every time you did a task you must post it to the “owner” of the game.sadly Rina’s body got cut in half.
