What is he hiding? The awesome store is one of the greatest shops in the amazing world of gumball. Portable and movable the awesome store and its owners ensure all the characters in the amazing world of gumball get exactly what they're looking for. I mean Richard Watterson was able;e to get the amazing darwin for gumball in the amazing world of gumball. Is there anything this awesome tore cant do? Probably not but what exactly is the secret of the awesome store and what is the owner of the awesome store keeping secret from all the characters in the amazing world of gumball?

I believe he’s the creator of Gumball who got fed up with the show’s episodic structure. He sells Elmore items so he can move the plot forward. Think about it he sells the universal remote which leads to rob’s redemption. He also sells the fridge to Richard which led Nicole and Granny Jojo mending their relationship. He’s trying to move forward the plot so he can eventually end the show. Which is why rob doesn’t try to buy items from the awesome store to prevent the show from ending because he knows he’s the one ending the show.

Perhaps the fact that the awesome stores interior changes based on who is observing it would imply that the awesome store may give people something they lack or its items May reflect some aspect of the observer's mind.

i used to think the awesome store was literally richards pure energy not being able to contain it inside his body so he basically put all of his energy unconcsionusly in a spot and that energy getting unstable and richard not knowing that (if we imply that richard is a god) that would explain most of its appearances is with richard

I wonder how many episodes the Awesome Store had appearances in and which things were bought in it. I'm now going to say as much as I know.

In season 3 episode 5 "The Puppy", Gumball, Darwin and Anais wanted to get a pet puppy, but Richard instead bought a pet turtle from the Awesome Store, which was acting really dangerous. Later that same episode, they went back to the Awesome Store where the turtle was also fighting Gumball, but the owner wasn't there then. In season 4 episode 28 "The Nest", it was revealed that the turtle is actually female, and the only reason why she was so dangerous is because she was pregnant, and all her eggs have hatched into baby turtles.

In season 4 episode 20 "The Origins", as well as episode 21 "The Origins - Part Two", it was revealed that Darwin was actually bought by Richard in the Awesome Store as a pet fish for Gumball, which is how he is able to talk, breathe on land, and has legs. Richard flushed Darwin down the toilet because he thought he was dead, but he was actually just playing dead. Darwin then got under a sea or ocean where some other fish were, and then he got lungs and was thus able to breathe on land and he somehow managed to get all the way back to Elmore. He also later sprouted legs which allowed him to walk.

In season 4 episode 40 "The Disaster", Rob bought a magical universal remote from the Awesome Store which can not only control TVs but things in reality. In season 5 episode 1 "The Rerun", he was going to use it to defeat Gumball.

In season 5 episode 18 "The Console", Richard bought a video game console called Gamechild from the Awesome Store for Gumball, which trapped him inside the video game. He then went back to the Awesome Store where he defeated the owner of it in the game.

In season 6 episode 16 "The Shippening", the police found a bunch of illegal stuff in the Awesome Store that the owner sells. The burger cop found some glasses that made him see his wife is a moose when she called him on the phone, the soda can cop found a magic lamp that granted him a wish to go to bed, a coffee cup cop found an umbrella that dropped some rain on him and struck him with lightning, and a French fry cop found a singing doll that possessed him and made him sound and act like a little child. Sarah also found a notebook in which she wrote some fake couples which came true.

And I think The Awesome Store links it all together perfectly

I headcannon that ANY magical object with no real explanation as to why it's there in the show/media it's in, came from THE AWESOME STORE! This makes my world more fun to think about!

I think the truck itself like the items in it is forth wall and reality breaking and is like it's own dimension that is simply viewed different by each observer and perhaps connected to expectations
