How To Crop Video| CapCut Tutorial

CapCut is free to download and use.. it can be found in the iOS App Store or the Google play store. There are no paid features or in app purchases or paid features. I show you how to crop a video that was screen recorded off of YouTube and use it in other projects. After I cropped the video I uploaded it to the channel

Tip: on iOS they replaced “edit” with “transform” so it’s okay if u don’t see the word!

When I try to crop video the crop handles just snap back into full position without cropping. If I move them in small increments, it will hold crop sometimes, but only allows for a maximum amount of cropping to be done, and I can't crop any further. I have "Free" selected at the bottom. Google Photos has crop handles similar to CapCut, but you can crop the video however much you need. I just don't like anything else about Google Photos. I don't care about black bars or whatever on the sides or top because I'll be filling that area with text anyway. Is it not possible to crop to whatever amount you want like Google Photos, or am I missing something?

Why is this so stupid? Why can't they just remove the black bars when you crop a video? Seriously such stupid developers, I cannot imagine why it is hard to make resizing videos so unintuitive. The FORMAT button is not there anymore. I cannot for the life of me get this done. The black bars are there. Please help.
