One thing more I would like to mention here, many of the prop firms now don't even allow you to open large lot sizes regardless of if your stop loss is even so small. Just like you trade on m1, if you take FTMO challenge and your stop loss would be so small, your lot size will be so big that you will have to use a huge portion of your free margin so they will flag you as over exposing trader and they will reduce your leverage to 1:30.

went through the exct same issue I just decided to have a minimum sl size of at least 6 on GU and around 14 on GJ, Backtested it, did a couple of tweaks Im currently backtesting it but its good so far

I feel your rants, Ive had similar issues, hence why all these have forced me to only trade gold, that too on the 3 minute.

And my side, trading only gold is better as I don't have to use big lots that come with high commisions

the commission are mad crazy, i stopped trading currencies due to that, i have been trading gold with smaller lot size still risking 1% for 2RR while on Currencies still applying the same RR i would get charged close to $150 just for commission cos of my lot size, which by the way it was still 1% risk and another thing which is becoming annoying with prop firms now they have this rule that if you make profits lets say 5% or $5000 on your $100k account and you withdraw all of it on your profit split day, you would forfeit the account due to daily drawdown reached, thats crazy man
