Yes, but I like my swimbait to be a little more off the bottom. I made my own with a thin wire from Amazon. I have 3 with different lenghts

If you're making your own with full length spinnerbait wires then yea, they kill. Unless ur water is this clear u meed longer wire

The Tokyo rig needs a 6" wire and it would be a perfect replacement to the drop shot.
