Things you should 🚫 NEVER 🚫 Clean with VINEGAR!!

Vinegar is a great cleaner for some things. It's cheap, easy to find and more natural. Which leads people to think vinegar can clean ANYTHING. In this video I'll answer questions, such as should I clean dishwasher with vinegar? What about in the washing machine or on countertops or floors?

I once used a commercial cleaner without reading the instructions because they were written in atom sized letters l couldn't see. All my chrome bathroom fittings turned brown and had to be replaced. Later l managed to read the instructions using a powerful magnifying glass. It said, "do not use on chrome fittings". Instructions like this should be clearly written so older people can read them.

I have used vinegar in my washing machines for over 20 years without any problems...

Never use vinegar on grout unless you plan on resealing it. Vinegar can etch the grout. Also on your steamer it works great on mattresses and pillows to help kill dust mites.

I have granite countertops and I use Dawn mixed with water in a spray bottle and my countertop are clean and shinny 😊

Avoid acid on certain surfaces. Great advice. However, citrus, like in the Grove Co product, is also an acid!

My boss has a marble business he told me just warm water with a bit of dish soap makes the marble shine

If your stainless steel utensils are rusting, that's not stainless steel. Many cheaper products I see these days are merely stainless steel coated

50% distilled water 50% isopropyl alcohol @ 92%. Works great on quartz counter tops, disinfects & no streaks. Works on LOTS of stuff.

NEVER use vinegar to clean mould off walls in which there are nails or screws! It gets into the tiniest crevices to the metal, and before you know it, the nails and screws holding your walls together are rusting away... It leads to awful rust marks in the short term, too.

Don't put vinegar into the toilet cistern . It will eat away the rubber seals.

Clean the bottom of your iron with a Tylenol (acetaminophen) tablet or paracetamol tablet - the plain tablet, in coated . Just hold the tablet carefully onto the bottom of a warm iron - and presto it melts away the backed on synthetic crud !

Once heard that vinegar is great automotive cooling system flush. Ran through my ram van… it did wonderfully somehow modernizing my van. Turned the bright green coolant orange red….





Yeah that’s right rust. I believe it eat some type of lining or coating. Then started on the block.

Yes! Snake venom, nicotine, digitalis are all natural. Natural does not mean harmless.
