And because they have self-esteem issues due to their own personalities perspectives and powers which effects them differently they are brats. Who take everything personally. Honestly Lizzie and Josie can’t be mad or upset since they were watching a memory. They went looking for this, and when it’s said behind closed doors, to another student (Hope or not) it’s being used as a tool to help the student heal.

Hope knows she’s stronger than both of them combined, even with Dark Josie, so at the end of the day, he’s simply stating, “you’ve had it hard, you’ve been separated from your family, you’ve basically lived life and you’re only 8. You’re stronger than them.” And it’s true. She’s been through trauma after trauma and gets made fun of because she’s different. While kids can be mean, they need to understand that someone’s differences aren’t to be made fun of but cherished.

Josie and Lizzie not cherishing Hope really led to the last season. Hopes anger and resentment against their whole family. I understand her emotions were off, but let’s be honest, she was going after those who came after her. And while it may seem minor with some bullying here and there, it’s really not. It’s me of the twins set hopes room on fire, blamed it on her, and most of Hopes drawings and such she did with her dad were destroyed. That’s not just bullying, that’s being plain mean.

Josie and Lizzie were both brats with their own problems that they projected onto EVERYONE else in their lives and more specifically onto Hope. They would use her as a distraction to their lives and make hers miserable.

the truth is hope is emotional stronger than all the characters in tvdu lets say even more than elena cause she lost her family when she was a little kid while elena was 16 17 but lets return to the point hope is emotional stronger than the twins but that doesn't mean that josie and lizzie can't feel bad when they hear their own father to say hope is stronger and don't start hope is stronger but the twins are feeling bad
