Creating A Contact Form With JavaScript / Nodemailer

Hi Guys,

Today we are going to be creating an email contact form using Nodemailer. I will be showing you how to set this up using a Gmail account as well as a custom email address.

As of May 2022 Google stopped option for less secure app, but we can setup app password and this works still. Great tutorial.

Interesting I always assumed when I sent emails to companies using these forms that it was actually sent from my email. Kind of funny that it's just an email they're sending to themselves. I guess you would need access to each person's actual email accounts to have it sent from their account itself though, so this actually makes a lot of sense. Thanks.
