And people wonder why Lola wants Jay to have a proper role in Lexi's life once she's gone. Ben is a good dad, but he can be unstable, and a kid that just lost her mother needs a lot more than that. I can totally see why Lola feels she needs to do this. If his not copping now, how's he gonna cope when Lola is gone.

It's getting difficult and harder to see Ben. Entering someone else's house like this, drunk and disturbing a family, that's too much. If it were me, I'd kick Ben out and tell him to fix his problems away from my family.

Another problem that Ben has and again they all have to put up with it, over and over again, getting worse and worse. It gets harder to watch this story.

Ben better leave like he did a long time ago, so much grief becomes hard to take in and see. In the end, Callum and this love story already makes me feel sorry instead of sympathy

I understand Ben’s outburst in Lola’s eyes is seriously not helping her deal with her last moments and he needs to regulate his emotions properly, but Lola can’t say that Ben hasn’t been doing everything and she and Jay shouldn’t have lashed out at him. He has been bending over backwards while balancing plates on his hands trying to make you to enjoy your final moments with each other. And to the other people who are saying this storyline isn’t bringing awareness. It’s not just about Binge eating. It’s the stress of not having control of the situation so he feels like he can control it by binge eating by purging. He’s still have to deal with the fact that he was sexually assaulted last year and this will be the one year anniversary of that let alone Lola dying over her cancer. I mean they do show him not eating food being on the strict regimen that’s not gonna help him so the storyline is bringing awareness.

I'm starting to get frustrated with this Ben storyline. As I've said here before, I completely understand those who are tired of the character. They always write him in the same way. This storyline was supposed to bring awareness, but I think the only thing it's succeeding in doing is to make people more angry with the character. This storyline should come after Lola's death.


And once again I come here to complain that Callum's only job is to be Ben's husband, put up with his craps and stay in the corners. The character is almost a saint (In the bad sense of the word).

I am so surprised that those around Ben are so lenient towards him any more. You have these great people and they stick around Ben even though he is such a nightmare. This story needs to remain focusing on Jay and Lola and not Ben, there is too much Ben and it is unnecessary.

Poor Lola! Having a relaxing evening with her husband and has to put up with Ben's shit in the last few months/weeks of her life! Any wonder why she wants Jay to be Lexi's legal guardian! Best decision for her child. Ben's character is the reason why procreating with Phil Mitchell isn't the best idea...

No idea why they've decided to turn Ben's character into the villain of the story and make him out to be a complete fool. So many viewers have become invested in the Ben and Callum love story but the writers seem determined to destroy it.

Ben is in so much pain right now but he takes it out on everyone else and right now that’s the worst thing… i don’t think Lola knows he was raped does she? He didn’t have time to deal with his trauma before finding out she was dying and it’s all got too much. If he’s not careful he’s gonna push everyone away and end up alone. He needs help. Fast. When Lola goes it’ll send him right over the edge and Jay shouldn’t have to be there for him when he’ll of just lost his wife and soul mate.

If Jay doesn't finally take the hint that Ben doesn't want him to have parental responsibility, he's being willfully ignorant. No more shallow asking if Ben's okay with this. He now knows and is pushing forward. Ben came to see Lexi like that because he felt like she was being taken away from him.

Ben Mitchell is the abhorrent he is a gay villain and the writers need to stop trying to FORCE audience to have sympathy. The producers are taking AWAY from Lola storyline making it all about Ben. Callum isn't really Ben husband he is his gay best friend sidekick. The writers made Callum weak and feminine he is like a nagging wife. Callum has no agency he has no point of view. Ballum probably the worst gay male couple on television. Will & Sonny on Days of our lives in America better & Robron in the UK. All Callum does is worry about Ben that got be exhausting and draining to deal with. That is just bad writing the audience isn't getting Callum point of view. People should be question why?

he never changes, making poor dying lola to cry when she’s stressed enough as it is and he makes it about himself, himself and himself and callum needs to tell ben what is what and not be a little puppy dog… everytime ben gets semi good they crush it down again. shock, then they make us sympathise for him with the ED..

I hope the writers don't do that over used and tiresome thing where after Lola's demise some guy shows up claiming to be Lexi's real father! Soaps use that way too much.
