totally agree community college is nothing to be embarrassed about. You don't drown in student debt and take the same classes as those in a four year. Either way any college you go to is wonderful.

This totally reminds me of extrinsic vs intrinsic motivation. Wanting to be as good as others is extrinsic and finding intrinsic motivation - doing things for yourself and doing them because you want to - is so important

I was waiting for something hopeful when Joan said, "For those who are in college listening to this podcast right now, you're probably complaining about it a lot, but trust me.." and then she said life after college gets more stressful. That gave me more anxiety instead. I thought she was going to say it gets better 😂😂😂

Just graduated yesterday from Coastline Community College, and got three degrees from it. You are right Matthew! Community College is not embarrassing. My family can't afford to send me to college or university, so my sis and I had to do everything ourselves. I did better probably in community college first rather than University where if I dropped out, I would have wasted thousands of dollars.

Thank you for being on this show because it shows that KPOP idols aren't that different from us who lead normal lives, I pray for your guys' success and please make more music!

I am finishing up my last year of community college. I got into UC Berkeley, UCLA, and all the other UC's but I'm going to UC Davis!!! Go Aggies! Damn Matt you got into Cal Poly straight out of high school!!!!

Definitely agree.. College taught me a lot about time management and Joan I went to school in the bay area and the freshman 15 is so real! Sooo much good food literally everywhere!!! Also omg I wish I studied abroad.. I highly recommend doing that in college too!

I can totally relate to BM about his regret on not being able to establish a system of time management during college. Which is too important once you start working!

When BM was talking about the community college stigma it hit me. I felt bad for going to CC instead of a CSU/UC, but i ended up transferring to UCLA and now I’m getting my Masters. CC’s are good, you just have to work extra hard to transfer to your dream school. If you’re reading and are going through the same thing, keep at it :)
