C2 and C3 Corvette disc brakes have their own unique quirks but properly set up are very effective.

The main advantage of discs over drums is fade resistance, otherwise the stopping power of properly adjusted drums is equivalent to discs and don't forget that drums are self-energizing.

Very nice Vette. 65, 66, and 67’s are my favorites. Thanks Steve. Take care! 🙏🏼

Oh. My. Gosh. 🤤 Every now and then you see "one of those cars", this one certainly qualifies. Yes, it will definitely rock the block at auction. Thank you High Octane Classics, Super Shane, and Mr Magnante ~ Chuck

Yes, 1965 model year with the VIN (from the HOC website) for the win: 1 for Chevrolet, 94 for Corvette, 67 for two door coupe/convertible, 5 for 1965 model year, S for St. Louis, MO assembly and the rest is the production sequence. The St. Louis Mo plant produced Corvettes through the middle of the 1981 model year when production was moved to Bowling Green, KY that year and eventually closed in 1986. After Corvette production moved, the plant produced mostly truck models.

We got the tag, we can brag: 19 437 for Chevrolet Corvette coupe, 421 for Saddle leather interior trim, AA for Tuxedo Black lower and upper exterior paint, and "A" preceding the body number for the body being built/sourced by A.O. Smith with final assembly in St. Louis, MO. From 1964 to 1967, some Corvette bodies were produced by A.O. Smith.
