This is really sad, I watched Epilogue again, and when Jackdaw says 'It's been an honour' I say to myself 'Farewell, <Freelancer name>'
This is probably the saddest cutscene music, alongside Retribution and Sunset.

I just realized that the name of the first cutcene is black dawn and the last mission is callad black dusk, plus the ironman archievment is called "dawn to dusk" and the final cutscene is "Sunset". Everyone is called as a bird. Birds go to rest at night. I might be stupid

This cutscene almost made me cry. All this buildup, just to fail at the end. It really showed how much a game could do. Cish *HAS* to make Entry Point's sequel.

The epilogue is either a good ending or a bad ending, the good ending is that the director is dead, halcyon is destroyed, and Jackdaw's got his revenge, the bad ending is that the freelancer is dead, although, bad ending or good ending, a revenge doesn't come with peace, just ashes

As I placed the final bomb, a security guard saw me, and automatically raised the alarm. A big, bald man with a Minigun fired at me. I dashed for cover, but after a while, I managed to take him down. I then ran to the elevator and I felt the breeze of air as I was lifted up. But the worst thing happened. It was interrupted. I managed to regain contact with Jackdaw. "Jackdaw, " I said, "The mission's complete. But they've shut down the power, I'm afraid this is it." "No!" shouted Jackdaw, "You can't give up!" "I can't hack it, " I said, "Plus there isn't enough time. Jackdaw. The mission...is complete." "It's been an honour, " whispered Jackdaw. I looked up at the wall. I knew it was over. I remembered Harvey, and the Broker. I remembered Alex Shaw, my associate who gave me that Raven. I remembered Wren recruiting me. I remembered Jackdaw saving me from death a previous time. And last of all, Rose, my good friend. The one who stood up for me. The one who cared about me most. "Farewell kid, " muttered the voice of Jackdaw. A small tear came from my eye. Then, a massive explosion could be heard everywhere. Then nothing. "Welcome to the Killhouse, " came a voice. And I recognised that voice. All too well.
