Her paid parental leave went nowhere. Her senators lunch went nowhere. Her book went nowhere. Archewell Foundation going nowhere. Her attempts at gaining public adoration going nowhere. Her Spotify and Netflix will go nowhere. She’s the epitome of talking the talk, but doesn’t want to walk the walk.

Meghan should have been grateful for everything that was done for her. She should have just shut up, stand by her Husband and do the jobs that were given to her. Ms. Brown is absolutely right. They wanted to commercialise “Royalty” and that is exactly what they are doing BUT in the US . This is one of the two most pressing reasons why harry and this woman MUST be stripped of the style and status of HRH . Imo

Markle naively thought that marrying into the RF, getting that title was all she needed. She could move on, give talks for millions - spouting her views and that would be enough. It isn't, and I think she's having a very difficult time with that realization!

Tina is right, MM does not have a brand. She is hanging on only because of her connection to Harry. He is royal by birth so his connection to royalty is always. Her connection is weak. She should NOT have jumped unless she was sure that she had enough talent to cover the loss of the royal platform, aides, advisors, and other perks. Now she is back to square one and fighting in the pit where everyone has access to these things. With a tarnished reputation and tendency to be disliked she is not likely to go as far as she would have in the RF.

Charles's second son's wife has black balled oneself with the RF. You don't go publicly trashing your husband's family. When you are in another country you have protocols to follow, if one cannot follow those protocols, you do not belong there. Especially being married into a prominent family as the RF, it shows lack of respect to the prominent family you have married into, and to that country

The cultural divide for MM was not understood. Charity is not about making money, it's about raising money for the charity, not about being paid for speaking engagements and monetizing your work. MM refused to listen to the advice offered, because she thinks she knows better! It is the difference between serving others, quiet service to accentuate others. It is not about claiming recognition! MM is about self and controlling what she wants to do and earn. It's entirely different. And coming from the US she didn't understand the British culture and didn't want to understand or be a team player. She was looking for a 'starring role'! Two different cultures separated by a single language.

They 'seemed not to appreciate what these things could become' because they did not appreciate that they were being graded on a sharp curve and were gifted a golden carpet rolled out for them by the entirety of the Commonwealth. With the exception of a troublemaking few media outlets, and though it had not been earned, everyone everywhere made an extra special effort to make Meghan feel abundantly welcome and wanted. Harry and Meghan seem to have believed that this was all a matter of course as if their magnificence was finally being recognized when really their work was only about to begin. They could not see beyond the ends of their own noses and have castrated themselves as a result.

If Meghan really actually loved harry, she would go out if her way to get on with his family, this is what you do when you really love someone, you want the love of their families as well. The fact that she deliberately cut them off and went on Oprah actually slagging them off, lying about them proves to me she doesn't love harry doesn't respect him or his family, she never did, he was her ticket to the fame she always sought along with the immense wealth and all the trappings. That's greed and self serving - no love.

I can't imagine such happening in my own family... the level of emotional extortion, outright LYING, and two-faced treachery. This American has only a superficial understanding of the RF, both as an entity existing for over one thousand years (!!!), and also as a private group of related human beings, but I still manage to understand "monarchy" and the line that protects the family within by keeping much private, and the other side of that line that is dedicated, selfless services for the British people and their shared nations, Commonwealth nations and peoples, and world leadership. If PH&MM didn't couldn't stand the rules, hierarchy, expected behaviors, they did right by physically leaving. The problem is, they came to America (ugh!!!) and have behaved ATROCIOUSLY towards each original family and that they ironically still want the titles and connection. There is a sick game afoot, IMO.

HRH Prince Phillip was an amazing intelligent compassionate man who wanted to make the world a better place and only after his death did we learn of his many achievements and endeavours. He wasn’t interested in celebrity status nor did he suffer fools gladly! You shouldn’t even mention Meghan in the same context!
