Coding in RPG (IBM i/AS400). Using XML files with RPG and SQL.

In this sample video, I'd like to show you an example of how you can import XML files using SQL into a table that is in your IBMi, and later how you can parse it also using SQL, importing the information it has into a data structure, from a RPG program.

I think it is a very useful video, for all people that still needs to use XML, and doesn't want to use data-into, xml-into or xml-sax.

Excelente video Christian! Gracias por compartir. Copie exactamente tu codigo rpg y el xml. Pero cuando corro el rpg con debug solo visualiza el primer CUSTOMER y no el segundo. He comparado varias veces tu codigo y el mio y no encuentro diferencia. Puede ser que el problema sea externo al programa ? teniendo en cuenta que cuando visualizo el archivo con sql se ven los dos CUSTOMER. Muchas gracias y saludos.

field1 is 2 GB. What happens if the xml file is larger? How would you handle this?
