DNA ka backbone "sugar-phosphate backbone" kehte hai. Isme phosphate aur sugar molecules hote hai jo DNA strands ko jortha hi Ismein phosphate aur sugar ke beech "phosphodiester bond" hota hai. Yeh bond DNA ki strength aur stability provide karta hai.
