Reaktor Blocks - Thinking Modular (Introduction) Ep. 1

Thinking Modular is going to be a compilation of videos where I intend to show my thoughts on modular synthesis. Maybe for many of you the concepts already known but nevertheless, here I go. My basic thought is to architect a form of circuit where instead of being linear, with a beginning and end, the idea is to circumscribe the circuit into some form of feedback. That is, the result of the output comes back into the circuit, affecting it in some way.
To start, I'll show some simple ideas and later, in other videos, I'll start implementing more complex connections.
Given that this is also an introductory video, you may be wondering why Thinking modular.

Well for me one of the great potentialities of modular systems is that the path you design can go wherever you want. Creativity is your limit. What happens is that sometimes we tend to think of music as a linear construction with overlapping layers of what we might call orchestration.This is partly because production software was designed for that very purpose, and as such it doesn't entirely give us the possibility to connect a certain musical element to another so that both interact in a certain form of modulation.
And the most beautiful thing is the global language that serves as a communication between the different modules. Voltage, is the information that you modulate and convert into music, which can be whatever you want it to be.
